The core process of crude lead smelting rotary furnace mainly includes raw material mixing, feeding, smelting, molten lead settling and separation, handling of molten lead and slag, and flue gas purification and emission.
1. Raw Material Mixing
Mix the lead-bearing materials obtained from the lead-acid crushing and separation production line.
2. Feeding
Feed lead paste, lead mud and other lead-bearing materials evenly into the rotary furnace via the vibration feeder.
3. Rotary Furnace Smelting
Melt the lead-bearing materials in the rotary furnace at high temperature, partially removing impurities.
4. Lead Settling Separation
Molten lead enters the lead settling pot, where stratification occurs due to density differences: heavy crude lead sinks, while slag and light impurities float to the surface.
5. Molten Lead Handling
The molten crude lead is collected in a lead holding kettle , kept warm, and surface dross is removed by the automatic dross remover before pumping to ingot casting or refining.
6. Slag Handling
Slag is collected in a slag ladle, cooled, and then further processed separately.
7. Flue Gas Treatment
Fumes and dust from smelting pass through a gas cooler, cyclone dust collector, bag filter, desulfurization tower and induced draft fan before being safely emitted through the chimney.
