1. Battery Discharge

Spent lithium-ion batteries are conveyed through a conveyor and pass through two slide-gate valves, with nitrogen supplied by a nitrogen generation system to provide inert gas protection.

3. Thermal Treatment
Then the batteries enter into the pyrolysis furnace to remove the electrolyte, PVDF, and separator.

The system cools the pyrolyzed material in a cooling water tank, then crushes and screens it in multiple stages to separate black mass, copper, and aluminum.
